Most people use their Instagram pages for pictures of their food, their most recent travels, or a night out with friends. That was probably what Robin Coe and Matthew Fleming were doing.
Until they found each other.
Coe was living in Toronto and Fleming in San Francisco. It was Christmastime of 2011 and Coe caught Fleming’s eye with her snowy pictures–something he missed, having grown up in Wisconsin. He started “liking” her pics, which then turned into emails, text messages, and epic (and by epic, we mean 13-hour-long) Skype chats.
Three months later, they met in person for the first time. Not long after, in May of 2013, Fleming proposed. It was a mere ten days later that the adorable couple said “I do” in a small garden wedding.
It just goes to show that you never know where you’re going to find true romance.
